I'm dying of love

You left without saying goodbye
despite my wishes
Behind you without emotion and
quietly
the door closed.
You did not want to search
for answers
You were afraid of questions
And somewhere far away from home
you're now without me.
Without you I'm dying
of love
I can neither breathe, nor
wait, nor live
I only see one dream at all
That you came, and that again
you are beside me

Without you I'm dying
of love
I can neither breathe, nor
wait, nor live
Emptily pass by my
minutes
And for me, the time
freezes without you

I found a simple answer
amongst your letters
Even rows of cold
lines and boring words
You write, that you've grown tired of living
confined and you want to
be set free
But how could I have known that
my love was what caged you in.

Without you I'm dying
of love
I can neither breathe, nor
wait, nor live
I only see one dream at all
That have you came, and that again
you are beside me
Without you I'm dying
of love
I can neither breathe, nor
wait, nor live
Emptily pass by my
minutes
And for me, the time
freezes without you

If only it were a dream,
the fact that you left yesterday...
Tomorrow I will wake up from it and
you will be there )*

Without you I'm dying
of love
I can neither breathe, nor
wait, nor live
I only see one dream at all
That have you came, and that again
you are beside me
Without you I'm dying
of love
I can neither breathe, nor
wait, nor live
Emptily pass by my
minutes
And for me, the time
freezes without you

I Would Have Wanted To

I would have wanted to talk to you
To convince you to get serious
You, who played with my heart and the words
So much time wasted to get to explain to you
That I really loved you
We didn't make each other up
We didn't look for each other
We've never got lost, lost

I would have wanted to look at you
Divine your every desire
Give you a sigh even if you stay away
Because I was afraid you might get to see
My sincere love like a flash in my eyes
My anger collapses
Like a paper plane
When it hits the wall

I would have wanted more
I would have wanted you too

I would have wanted to tie you up
To be able to look at you every day
To change the route
The path of our destiny
And anchor you to my chest to not let you be carried away
To a life that flies away
Stop the heart for a moment
In those winter days and the ice will melt
And the ice will melt
And the ice will melt

I would have wanted to chase you
But pride is never fast
It's just an excuse to cover up a mistake
Even when I found out that it was our tomorrow
That wanted to make peace
That wrinkle on your face that you called an 'expression'
Is now a channel
How many nights of thinking?
How many bitter tears
Have bathed my soul?

I would have wanted more
I would have wanted more
I would have wanted more
I would have wanted you too

The Undocumented

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home
Oh, Notre Dame
We come to ask for
Asylum, asylum

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home
Oh, Notre Dame
We come to ask for
Asylum, asylum

We are already more than a thousand
Entering into the city
We will be ten thousand
We will be a hundred thousand
We will be a million,
Those who will ask for
Asylum, asylum

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home
Oh, Notre Dame
We come to ask for
Asylum, asylum

There is nowhere to sleep
I will force the doors open
I will take Paris
I will conquer Paris
The world will change
It will mix
We will occupy Paris

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home

We are the illegal
The undocumented

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home
Oh, Notre Dame
We come to ask for
Asylum, asylum

We are the illegal
The undocumented
Women and men
Without a home
Oh, Notre Dame
We come to ask for
Asylum, asylum, asylum

Cu ajutorul iubirii tale

Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...
Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...

Cu ajutorul iubirii tale
nu-mi pasă de ziua de mâine,
pentru că ce e mai bun, de la tine
pe veci voi avea,
e un bine pe care
eu nu l-am mai avut.

Tu m-ai făcut să regăsesc
încrederea pe care-o căutam,
și în schimb, din partea mea
pe veci vei avea
și un bine pe care
n-o să-l pierzi.

Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...
Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...

Crește iubirea mea
tot mai mult,
zi după zi,
tu vei înțelege.

Cu ajutorul iubirii tale
nu-mi pasă de ziua de mâine,
și în schimb, din partea mea
pe veci vei avea
și un bine pe care
n-o să-l pierzi.

Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...
Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...
Tot binele din lume îl vei avea din partea mea...

Modern sonnet

Versions: #2
She put on her nicest hat, the blue one,
and her dress noboby has unfastened yet.
Then she pulled back the unruly lock
her lappet had moved down a bit.

She thought: 'this is wrong, very wrong! And what a rain!'
I'll be done for like your average old bluestocking1!
Then, before going out, to enjoy a whiff
of warm air, she held out her hands in front of the fire.

And off she scampers under her umbrella2
in the rain. Only her bootie and her rump
bulging under her raincoat show.

She's nearly there. Good Lord! Sixth floor is so high!
The key is in the lock. She comes in and goes 'Phew!'
then wets his nose3 saying 'I love you'.

  • 1. that's just an educated guess. 'fée' most likely had a more specific slangy meaning in the 19th century, but I couldn't pinpoint it
  • 2. this disused term for 'umbrella' means 'just in case'
  • 3. I suppose the raindrops on her face wet the guy's nose as she kisses him. I couldn't find any slangy use of the expression
